Description
View CountRecorder Data at your PC! – WIRED NETWORK
The NETWORK feature added to the Basic CountRecorder will let you view the hourly, daily, and monthly data at your PC using standard web browser software. This option adds a standard network jack to the display box. You can still manually retrieve the data by using the display buttons….but you can also view the data at your PC.
To use the Network Interface to view the count data, you will open a web browser and type the address of the CountRecorder into the address line of the browser. The following web pages will appear. You can easily refresh the counts by selecting “Reload Count Values”.
The top of the page will display all of the current information including current time, date and current counts for the hour, day, week and month. Also note that the “Sensor Alignment” field provides an easy way to check if the sensor is still aligned with the reflector – or if something is blocking the beam between the counter and the reflector.
Below the counter’s status is the Month view. This view provides the Month, Week and Day counts. You can move directly to a different month or move from month to month. Selecting a specific day will show the Hourly counts and allow you to step through the Hourly counts for each day.
Selecting the “Change Counter Settings” will allow you to remotely change the counter settings…as long as you know the correct password.
The above data is available with the Wired Network CountRecorder. You may also wish to consider purchasing the CountReporter software to view data at your PC network and export data to Microsoft Excel.
The CountRecorder is the result of 13 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and supplying People Counters. This AC-Powered People Counter never needs batteries and there are no Annual Maintenance Fees! The ac power cord is 5 foot long.
We recommend use of a surge protector to protect the CountRecorder from power fluctuations. The counts will be saved in the event of loss of ac power.
